G'day America!

I'm Billy Lid, the US FootyKid, and I'm here to tell you how you can play the coolest game in the world.

The proper name for the game is Australian Rules Football, but us Aussies love to give everything a nickname and our favorite (and only indigenous game) is no different and we just like to call the game footy.

The ball is also called the footy and our game is all about getting the footy and sharing it around with your mates. It has many elements of games you've already played, like soccer, basketball and volleyball. It's kind of like the best of everything rolled into one awesome game with everyone
getting to be the quarterback at the same time!

We've got big plans for footy in America, but right now we're concentrating on getting the game into the school Physical Education curriculum. It's the perfect game for PE, great for cardiovascular, very skill diverse and a fantastic team game, keeping all participants active all the time!

The DVD will show you how to get your first lesson started and then use all the great resources on this website to keep teaching footy, like lesson plans, skill instruction vidoes and the Auskick manual, a fantastic curriculum you could build a whole years activities from!

Currently we have a special offer for schools in Maryland, N.Va and Delaware. For $350, we'll come out to your school, take your PE lessons for the day, set you up to continue teaching footy and leave you with a pack of 20 footies. Contact us at footykids@usfooty.com.
